We know how important your home is, so we have each crew member go through extensive safety training as well as be fully versed in customer service. There are no accidental water or gas line nicks, no scratched walls between the kitchen and door, and no mess for you to clean up after we’re gone.
How It Works
Everyone’s home is special and unique, kitchen included. We take each job as its own individual project, and adapt our process to your needs.
The Basic Steps:
- Contact us to tell us about the scope of your project, your location, and any demo or remodeling timelines you have.
- Send us photos and any additional information on what should stay or go.
- We’ll give you an estimate for pricing and duration of demolition
- Our crew will come by on the establish date(s) and get to work!
It’s that simple. No need to borrow your neighbor’s sledgehammer, renting a jackhammer, or trying to remove tile or granite on your own.
In most homes, you will start with prepping of the space. Cleaning out any pots, pans, food, etc. Then, we’ll cordon off the space with plastic sheeting and protective materials for flooring between the kitchen and entry, and double check utilities are shut off. Then, we will start with larger, salvageable items like pieces of countertop, cabinet doors, or appliances. Once those are gone, our crew will start breaking apart all of the remaining parts and removing it from the house. What’s left after is a clean, empty space with thousands of possibilities!
Common Types of Kitchen Demolitions

- Cabinet removal
- Kitchen counter demo
- Tile removal
- Backsplash demolition
- Flooring demo
- Kitchen wall removal
- Old kitchen demo (remodel prep)
FAQs
How should I prep for my kitchen demolition?
Depending on the type of demo we’re doing, you’ll have slightly different instructions. However, for most homes we recommend you still need to do several key things:
- Turn off utilities and disconnect appliances. You can switch off electricity for the kitchen only by finding its breaker box switch. Any water lines can be shut off with the knobs under the sink. Gas appliances will have a valve to turn off on the back of the unit.
- Move any furniture or items out. Bar carts, stools, pots and pans, blenders, everything must go! Anything left behind will be at risk of being destroyed.
- Tape off the area. Use painters tape to mark off the area they will be working in, or to mark areas that specifically should or should not be demolished.
Do your services cover partial removals like kitchen counter or cabinet demolition?
Yes! We know not everyone needs their entire kitchen gutted. Sometimes you just have an old kitchen with cracked counters or want updated cabinets. We can handle sink removals, fixtures, drains, tile, backsplash, appliances, even kitchen islands. Just let us know exactly what stays and what goes when you contact us for your kitchen demo.
Can I pair my bathroom and kitchen demolition together?
Absolutely. It’s way easier for us (and you) to get it done all at once. It’s a similar preparation process, and you can get everything done much quicker. Plus, you won’t have to worry about having a construction zone in your house more than once. If you’ve got a need for tile flooring or concrete removal, or just need them both gutted, we’ve got you covered.
